Benedikt Eppelsheim Soprillo Saxophone - Silver plated

Benedikt Eppelsheim Soprillo Saxophone - Silver plated

The only Soprillo Saxophone in production, it doesn't get more unique than this!

Each and every component is handcrafted by Benedikt Eppelsheim in Germany to the highest standard, resulting in a very special instrument that oozes quality. Decorated with fine engraving. Low Bb to high Eb, brass finished with stunning silver plating.

Unlike the other members of the saxophone family, the Soprillo saxophone's octave key is actually part of the mouthpiece!

The silver plate gives this Soprillo a touch extra darkness, which blends delightfully in amongst the instrument's natural sweetness.

It can be a little tricky to play, but once mastered it has a lovely tone!

The Tech Specs

- written range Bb3–Eb6, sounding Ab4-Db7: 1 octave above Bb soprano.

- same fingering as any modern saxophone: no need to worry about learning new fingering charts.

- uses Eb, Ab, German style Bb clarinet reeds or sopranino sax reeds: never fear about running out of reeds.

Complete with hard case
